At Liquid Gaming we offer a basic range of console servicing. The biggest problem affecting modern consoles is overheating caused by dust build up and failure of the processor thermal compound. Leaving these problems unaddressed can shorted the life of your console significantly. The solution is regular servicing.
How often should I service my Console?
Every 12 Months
Professional dust clean of the console with a full strip down
Every 3 Years
Reapply console processor thermal paste

Console Overheating
Is your console randomly shutting down. The most common cause of modern consoles like the ps5 and Xbox series X & S is overheating due to dust accumulation.
These problems can usually be fixed by taking apart the console, cleaning out the dust and putting it back together.
How can I tell if my Console is overheating?
PS5 (Including Slim and Pro)
The PS5 generally overheats in two different ways.
Processor Overheating
Caused by dust accumulation or in rare cases failure of the Liquid Metal thermal interface material.
In this case you will usually get a warning from the console about overheating before it shuts down.
Power Supply Overheating
Caused by dust inside the console blocking airflow to the power supply.
In these cases, the console will shut off without warning.
Xbox Series S & X
These consoles usually overheat from dust accumulation.
The fan will usually be a lot louder than normal.

While most console problems are related to overheating there are other faults that can affect consoles.
We can assess these faults too. There are not set prices for repairing these issues and every customer will be quoted a specific price for their unique repair requirements.

We have £30 assessment fee to identify the cause of the problem.
The price of the Repair will be quoted separately and is dependent on the nature of the specific faults affecting your console.
If you decide to go ahead with a repair we will credit the assessment fee towards the first hour of labour which will therefore be free.
